About Stanwood, Wa and Camano Island, Wa
Stanwood, Wa and Camano Island, Wa are two small neighboring towns separated by bridge an hour North of Seattle. The area has seen enormous growth in the last decade totaling the combined population to nearly 35,000 for 2017. The Stan/Cam area is populated by a unique group of people who are well connected, helpful and overly kind. Known for the Arts, untouched beaches, crabbing, views of Islands and both Mountain ranges, Camano Island attracts tourists nationwide.
In moving to Stanwood from Seattle’s Eastside, Washington Real Estate Broker, Kenzie Kipper, found this location to be extremely rewarding. “Everyone is so friendly and willing to help!”.
Since discovering Stanwood, Kenzie purchased her forever home on Camano Island. “We visit over 7 beaches within 10 minutes of our house!” Well off the beaten path, the Island’s natural beauty and slow paced environment offer a relaxing outlet.
Recently, the area has experienced commercial growth. By 2021, local schools will be completely rebuilt and/or renovated .
